A ship hovers over Earth, almost touching the atmosphere. A door opens its way for a single figure, walking towards the window with the view of the Earth. The figure looks around, observing what this planet can do and can't. Then he muttered: "This is the right place for the game. The ripeness of these species hunger for success, it's the correct moment to start." He held out his hands. "I wonder what man will come out of this." And faced his palms towards the Earth. Exactly on top of the country, Japan. The mourning shine of the sun, seems even more bright today. The chirps of the flock of birds flying away sound musical, almost like an alarm for the day. Tira Mari, a stinky shut-in weeb living in a small apartment complex. He wakes up as usual like every other day and jumps on his desk to see the latest news about his manga series. But the internet is gone. Furious is he, he went to check his router to see if there was anything wrong with it. Nothing wrong, just that the signal is gone. The electricity is still working and the water is still running. But something feels immensely wrong. It's just that he couldn't grasp it. He walks to his window and opens into the balcony, he intended to get some fresh air but suddenly waves and waves of people are evacuating the area. The honks of horns and announcements of evacuating the area are super loud that it could make your eardrums ring. Tira didn't like that at all. Ignoring the fact that he needs to evacuate, he goes back into his room and watches anime on his phone. He got a few little giggles but then his phone exploded. What was the reason behind it? That phone was expensive, maybe expensive for its time since it was brought 5 years ago when he got his first paycheck. Speaking of his job, he got fired for slacking around too much at work and kept making mistakes all over the place. After that he became a neet. He sighed that his phone exploded and went to his fridge. Only a few steps before reaching it, it exploded just like the phone did. That scared Tira so much that he thought he could've died then and there. But now all of his food is splattered everywhere with scraps of metal and ash. Tira is hungry. Then suddenly all of his electrical appliances exploded like there was something to celebrate. There was war inside of his room, he could barely escape the room by quickly going out. Still barefooted, the summer heat burned his feet. He hopped around until he found a shade on the first floor. He looked around to see a store broadcasting the live news about the current situation. "The current evacuation attempt has failed due to large scale communication being disrupted, the tech team is in the process of reconnecting. But that is not the only problem, a massive black barrier has been surrounding the country in all directions. This mysterious barrier will be investigated even further but evacuation attempts are not eligible for this situa-" The TV also exploded. Tira wondered why all the electrical appliances were exploding out of nowhere. But that was not to worry about right now. A figure is up in the sky, watching everyones' movements. Only later did everyone notice this figure after the noise had calmed down. Tira also noticed this figure and became disdain towards it. Thinking that it's the figure's fault for having all of this happening. Then, the figure suddenly fired down into the ground and caused a huge explosion. The crowd shouted at this event and soldiers came into the area. They aimed their guns at the smoke and prepared to open fire. The figure walked out of the smoke. A bulky muscular body is what they see. Clearly something they shouldn't mess with. "Open fire!" The commander shouted. The soldiers began to fire their guns at the figure, then it disappeared. The army became confused and ceased their fire. But they heard some kind of foreign language being uttered. The figure is on top of them all and stomped down on the ground and quickly massacred the mass group of humans. The others began to run away from the scene, but the figure didn't chase them down. It cleared its voice. "Greetings humans, hope you can understand my language now. After I heard your language through the screams and terror, I came to finally be able to communicate with your species." The figure greeted. "This country is selected to be the first of the first to hold the game. A game in which will decide who is the best among all of your species. You have 2 minutes to decide your life. Spend it wisely." The whole country went in a blaze. Who is this creature and how did it adapt so fast? What game is it talking about? 2 minutes!? There was not enough time to digest this mysterious claim, only screams and terror continued. But Tira stayed calm. He thinks that this is all just a bad nightmare and will wake up from this soon enough. But he did take interest in this speaking figure. After hearing the news from another broadcasting store and exploding after, he walks over to the area to what he thinks is Shinjuku. But even though he only still took a few steps towards the far away Shinjuku, the figure is already in his sight. Right in front of him. Tira didn't expect that surprise. He confidently placed his fingers onto the figure's chest. "You think you can scare me mister nightmare?" He said with a grin. The figure is surprised along with the crowd around him. "This nightmare will end when I finally wake up, and there's nothing you can do here to scare me." Tira really had words to say. With the quick sweep from the figure, Tira has a cut on his cheek. He reacted with a gasp. Grabbing his cheek, his hands full of blood from trying to stop the bleeding. "Do you understand now, human? This is no dream." The figure said before he left with a dissatisfied look. He thought his confidence meant his strength, but he was just cocky. Tira looked at the figure and gritted his teeth. Now he doesn't like that figure. Or more like an alien to him. Tira got treated by a nearby medic. He still has this disdain look on his face. While the medic patches up his wounds, he sneaks in a little snack for Tira under his sleeve. Tira is obviously confused, but the medic already left. Outside, it's still in shambles. Complete utter chaos in this country. The government is trying their best to solve this problem but all efforts have failed. Neither it's people could do anything. Neighboring countries can't help because they have no clue to what's going on or even know that something is going on. 2 minutes are up. The figure stands on top of the tallest building in Shinjuku and raises his arm. "May the game commence." It slashes his arm down, sending out a huge army of flies. The crowd erupted in fear, but it soon disappeared when the flies turned out to be cute little guys. But they all serve a purpose. One landed on Tira. He didn't really like the companion but he had no other choice. The figure left after the storm had drifted, no traces of him left. The fly that's with Tira suddenly began talking. "I will explain the rules of The Triumph."
